Basso Diamante
Diamante — 22 Years of Evolution, the Most Basso Bike of All
Diamante
Twenty-two years and eight evolutions since the first Diamante, arriving at what Basso itself calls "the most Basso bike of all." A classic horizontal top tube and long seat stays give it a timeless silhouette — and underneath, the character of a racing bike built specifically for climbing and descending.
Where SV is an aero all-rounder built for speed and versatility, Diamante is a climber, built around Basso's lightest frame ever (760g, size 53) for the mountains. Stable yet light, with a playful edge to its handling — reactive on the way up, composed at high speed on the way down. Every tube's wall thickness is engineered individually to deliver both.
Frame
Built with Toray 40T and 30T carbon plus FAW 50, the Diamante frame weighs just 760g (size 53) — the lightest frame Basso has ever made. Circular tube shapes at the bottom bracket and steering area deliver high torsional rigidity, converting pedaling power directly into forward motion. Easily clears the UCI complete-bike weight limit (6.8kg) while balancing climbing responsiveness with high-speed descending stability. Available in 7 sizes, clears tires up to 32mm. Designed, painted, and assembled at Basso's own facility in Bassano del Grappa. Frame kit includes fork, headset, and dedicated seatpost.
