What a beautiful day! Midsummer days in the Chiemgau region of Bavaria. Feeling like a holiday, we set off from the FINGERSCROSSED headquarters in Traunstein and headed further afield for gravel roads and mountain peaks.
But this time, the focus wasn't on the challenge of climbing the mountain, but on the memories we made along the way. We collected them like souvenirs, and you'll see styles in this collection that represent those souvenirs.
After being greeted by Sepp, who asked us to fill our bottles with beer from a local brewery, we enjoyed a traditional Bavarian Brotzeit and played a few games of cards before taking an extended break.

The next "aid station" wasn't far away, and there I was able to refill with cold mountain spring water - staying hydrated was essential that day, with temperatures reaching over 30°C by early afternoon.

Pedaling over gravel roads, visiting mountain peaks and huts, passing through flowering meadows, and filling up our bottles with beer, there was plenty to explore and a lot of fun along the way. It was a perfect summer day that I will remember for a long time. I still marvel at how close to home I can get to feeling like I'm on vacation.

Check out the collection now, which includes 14 different socks and bidons, and get into the summer holiday spirit.
